Hello,

I have tried every logical step i could think of, the server won't follow the mapcycle.txt. I've scanned the forums at Dod and have tried every one of the suggestions there, but no luck. The mapcycle.txt is exactly the same as the map.ini file (had to create the map.ini file, cuz in steam there's no admin.maps file). I've tried to comment out the maps i don't want2 use in the mapcycle. Also deleted the maps i don't want to use from the server and changed the mapcycle.txt to match( but server will stay on one map if i do this). I tried leaving the mapcycle text in the exact order(default), then add new maps at the bottom of list(while commenting out the default maps i don't want & also tried jus adding maps to file). All these attempts, keeping both files the exact same (mapcycle.txt, map.ini) every time. Nothing worked :/. If i make the mapcycle.txt custom, with new maps i uploaded to server... the server skips to what ever map it wants (random) but won't load custom maps by itself. There's nothing wrong with the maps i uploaded, cuz i can switch to those maps via HLSW and play on them. Any help would be appreciated =).

Still doing the same thing as before(mapcycle). Also I changed the messages in the adminmod.cfg from the default maessages: "Welcome to the real world" and the "This server is using admin mod" but the server will not update itself. Is there a way i can force the server to update? That might be the problem with the maps also. Thanks for the help!

Are you restarting the server each time you edit the mapcycle.txt file?

Use HLSW and type quit in the console, It should auto restart its self.

Also in your Adminmod.cfg file the mapcycle part should look like:
To use the mapcycle.txt file
// List of maps people are allowed to vote for. "" to disable.
// Disable to enable all maps and use list from mapcycle.txt.
maps_file ""

And to use the maps.ini file it should be:
// List of maps people are allowed to vote for. "" to disable.
// Disable to enable all maps and use list from mapcycle.txt.
maps_file "addons/adminmod/config/maps.ini"

eek! The server didn't restart itself after i typed "quit" in the console (HLSW). Should i be worried? Or how long will it take sto restart? (already bout 9min timeout).

It should come back up in about 30 seconds looks like the restart script isn't setup yet or there is an error with it. Go on mirc #branzone and ask for it to be restarted.

Does your mapcycle actually cycle through maps now though ;)
